I’m Aryan Patnaik, a 17‑year‑old junior at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, TN. I’ve been playing travel hockey since 10U for teams like Pred Select, Jr Preds, Nashville Flyers, and Music City Marauders. Currently, I am playing for Nashville Flyers 18U AA team and Ravenwood High School team.

I’m a first‑generation hockey player who fell in love with the game at 9 years old. I’ve spent countless hours at team practices, stick times, and working with coaches to build my skills and hockey IQ. Hockey has given me discipline, confidence, and mental toughness. It’s taught me how to handle pressure, bounce back from mistakes, and keep working even when things are hard.

The game has also shown me the value of teamwork and respect -  for coaches, teammates, opponents, and the rink itself. I’ve made close friends, learned how to communicate on and off the ice, and discovered how good it feels to set a goal and reach it.

Now, I want to pass all of that on to younger kids. My goal is to help them fall in love with hockey, build strong fundamentals, and grow their confidence so they can use what they learn on the ice in school and in life.
